Anxiety (Page 7) alpossmar82: Some Krsna helps like a mindfulness and learning a 2nd language, I've heard the Catholic faith being a means of positive mediation, I;m too self conscious they may think I'm devil or something and often prompt some secular problems. DEEP_acheleg: as far as meds- every persons physiology is different- i had to try many different pharmacutecals to finally find something adequate for stress and mood swings without adverse side effects. clonazapam works for me, for mild to moderate stressors, but, if the stressor is too severe for the benzo types- i would have to knock myself out with seraiquel and sleep it off- but this has only been necesarry a handful of times. for some, antidepressants alone may be adequate- everyone is different Klaeidoscopes Ghetto: benzo cause my heart to flutter i think besides panic attacks i maybe dealing with p.t.s.d.. maybe even bi polar depression sux but my journey i will not let it win : } gl all DarkKnightbc: I take something called Eleviv, it doesn't replace any medication. But it keeps me off any medication debglbt: My name is Deb and I have a support room on wire. It's Deb's Mental Health Support Room. I am disabled from bipolar disorder and anxiety. The room is peer led...people helping people. No need to feel alone. Come visit! Love Deb debglbt: Hello aaronbf - I'm Deb. They just added Clonapin to my Lamictal a few weeks ago. Are they bad? Klaeidoscopes Ghetto: citalolpram is a anti depression real name is celexa they will give you anything but what you need Klonopin saved my life lissa87: Yeah... I know and paroxetine is the same family as citalopram... its ridiculous! I keep telling them how my anxiety is different then depression. Though, its helped a bit... but, never last long until I'm like okay this isnt working again.. Citalopram is also used in some anxiety cases, but yeah I still have constant daily anxiety symptoms that dont go away... its like they only took the edge off of my anxiety. I wish they would listen to me! LOL But, I have a pretty good doc now and will start counseling soon. dadman1240: the great physician ... the wonderful counselor http://dadmansabode.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=139#p139 <>< alpossmar82: 2of yrs off ant psychotic meds, cant't drink beer take tobacco.. developed the psoriasis and ADD. I believe the meds induced symptoms for both metal and physical problems, wayne elliott: I agree with you alpossmar82, ingesting meds for one condition can create another. I had a heart attack 2012, stent inserted, meds for the rest of my life. Now problems with excema, inflamed liver and some weight issues. Feel pretty shitty. BlueMoon07: Medication at best manages 50% of the symptoms and the other 50% is what you put in. Nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, yoga, CBT, REBT or any other therapeutic techniques that we use. jimmyjim397: Yes..
