ohnonotthatguy: Wow very impressive.
To power millions of trucks worldwide with this bio-diesel you would need millions of acres for such a crop.
Would these be the millions of acres that are now being cultivated with crops to feed billions of people globally every single day our do we need to clear-cut forests down to grow this soybeans?

Why no power every single motor with natural gas?

Outbackjack: Agree with ohnonotthatguy.

We need to use all the unproductive farmland and saltlakeson the earth to make biodiesel. As most of these areas are hot and have heaps of sunshine then they would be ideal for making energy through en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Algaculture

DEEP dystopia
DEEP dystopia: as it stands, ethanol production is causing corn proces to rise (supply and demand), and the corn inflation leads to meat inflation,, as well- as farm animals are fed largely corn-based foods. ethanol actually causes more pollution than petrol.

isnt regular diesel "bio", since it was produced from rotting dinosaurs?

it would be better to switch to natural gas, than to produce bio-diesel.

Serabi: What is done with the waste products, if any? Can it be used for food? Soya products are already replacing meat in certain countries. Very low fat content - how many acres/hectares are needed to create 1liter of usable fuel? Do vehicles need an expensive conversion to use this fuel?

Serabi: Scrap above questions, I read it up on Wikipedia. Only one question remain - can waste products be used for something else? I searched but could not find the answer anywhere.
