Have you met a person off of Wire?

joellatbird: I have found, people want to sit up in your PM and get to know any and all about yourself you're willing to share. They want to talk to you for hours and yet, when it makes sense to meet, they act as if it's just oh so weird to. I don't get it because to me, you can meet weirdos online or off and after establishing you like a person it's always suggested to then meet in person to really get to know a person, not talk online for months. A lot of people have things backwards here in my opinion.

somewherepurple: Lol. To be fair, it was a long first date! We got together on a Saturday afternoon. Went hiking. Had dinner. Watched a movie. In my single days, I *always* had PJ's and a toothbrush in the car just in case (one can derive their own insights as to what that says--I just like to think it says I'm always prepared, like a good boy scout). I slept over--no sex. We went out to breakfast, then that afternoon, things just flowed that direction. So, if you consider the average date 4 hours, we perhaps had about 6 dates in there--they just happen to be contiguous. But, since it was an unbroken sequence of time, I claim first date sex!!!

Scopinitout1: That seems to go without saying. Most people I know who've met others from online sites have started in public. I've met a few people from other sites (not Wireclub) just for coffee or lunch and ended up enjoying it far more than I expected.

It all worked out fine, of course, because I'm a sweet heart of a guy, and it's the guys who are the problem in such situations and we all know it. But she was brave to invite me!
