The first trillionaire?

Metaverseguy
Metaverseguy: Currently, there is no trillionaires and there has never been any trillionaires. The first billionaire was John D. Rockefeller, who was around some hundred years ago. More and more people are becoming billionaires. There are now over 1,000 billionaires from many different countries and continents. Only nations though hold trillions of dollars of money, yet in the red. To even claim that one person is a billionaire would not be completely true, since the majority of their net worth is in real estate, stocks, bonds, etc. and not listed as an account balance when they withdraw some money for gas. Many times their money is spread out over several different banks in different parts of the world as well. However, if someone wanted to be a trillionaire they would have a long way to go. 50 billion dollars is a lot less than a trillion, which is still quite a ways from infinity.

Perhaps the top .001% are beginning to soften up from competition and are beginning to agree with the woes of income inequality. With higher taxes on the .001% perhaps the entire planet could be prosperous in one or two decades and even the poorest people alive could be making the equivalent of twenty thousand dollars annually.

However, with the way things are going at least in the next 30 years someone should approach one trillion dollars. The first Forbes list was published in 1982 and had only 13 billionaires. With the richest net worth approaching 100 billion dollars it's likely to say if trends stay the same we will see someone reach one trillion dollars.

Metaverseguy: That's pretty impressive. I would be jumping to conclusions to say you are this person, but it seems that Satoshi Nakamoto has a good chance to be the first trillionaire and if not the first, then perhaps the first from Japan. I read an article about a black hat hacker who had paused the growth of bit coins, but it seems to be growing in popularity.
