books turned into t.v show

Ashley438: Lately i noticed more and more books are being turned into t.v show (gossip girls,vampire dairies,bitten,true blood,witches of east end and so) . Do you have any you love? Do you think they give the books justice? Are there any books you would love to see as a tv series?

bevilagi: I prefer reading the True Blood series than to watching it because I think they dont give the book justice. The characters are altered, the scene is made glamorous the plot may be the same but the scripts for each character are sometimes altered too.

Pagan Warrior: I started reading Under The Dome then the t.v. series started, I am glad I stopped reading the book as they have taken it and changed it for the t.v. series. I understand they have to do that with some turn book into a t.v. series , but seriously I get sick of reading a book watching the t.v. show version of it and going ' this is not what I expected' so I think I will just stick to reading a book now and not watch a t.v. series.

evieive: I always think books are better than TV series or movies, there are too many details have to be skipped when they make it on screen, besides books give more imagination. However, I do enjoy GOT and LOTR, they are as great as the books.
