just finished Off Magazine Street by Ronald Everett Capps (quite possibly the best little known book ever written) this sits in my top five of novels

ladybluecries: I was reading the final Look in the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness called "The Book of Life" now I am about to start reading Nora Roberts "Whiskey Beach". Has anybody read either of these books or authors?

KaiTheKawaiiKitty: I just finished a 5 part series. The Embrace Saga by Jessica Shirvington. It was a great series and im sad its over. Now ive started to read Garden Of Shadows by VC Andrews Which Starts off the Flowers In The Attic Series (Which Ive Already Read) By VC Andrews.

shark angel: garden of shadows is good as for flowers in the attic the orginal movie is better

KaiTheKawaiiKitty: i didnt care for the original flowers in the attic movie. it left out way to much. i liked the newer flowers in the attic movie better, but it to, left out WAY to much. i much prefer the books to the movies in this case.

shark angel: i didnt like the new one cuz the sexy older brother (think his name was chris) got whipped and to me that was wrong and the kids did not get revege on thier mom again that was wrong they should have killed her just like they did in the first one but as my hubby always says to each thier own if we all liked the same things this would be a boring world

KaiTheKawaiiKitty: like i said. the movie left out a decent amount of the story...which why i much prefer the books to the movies in this case. lol

Metaverseguy: I rented a couple books from the library on Roswell and UFO's. I also rented Khaled Houssini's Kite Runner and reading Arabian Nights Voyages of Sinbad, which I downloaded for free.

Mew_: I just started Book I of The Chronicles Of Amber by Roger Zelanzy (The Corwin Cycle), So far so good. It takes me forever to find a decent trilogy to read to keep me busy. If you like fantasy type books, give this one a try.
