Marvin at work: I've read “The Stand” and “The Dark Tower” by Stephen King and I really enjoy it.
But my favorite are the “The Sten Chronicles” by Chris Bunch and Allan Cole.

SpartanWarrior_03: Stephen King writes some good ones, but they go off into too much weird detail for me, so I got hooked on Dean Koontz & read all of his works. Then moved on to less strange readings. John Grisham, James Patterson, etc...

Miss_Chrys: I just finished reading The Help.. I have to say, it's not generally something that I would read, but it was a really well written book and even though it was fiction, the content, how it was written and also the story made it nearly impossible for me to put down.

I've just started reading "The Slap" by Christos Tsiolkas who is an Australian/ Greek writer. This book is so far a great read and is an international best seller. They've since made it into a televsision series over here. Really good read. The writing style is great and i highly recommend it if your looking for something which is a bit thought prevoking and a bit edgy in writing style..

Miss_Chrys: I just read one of it not the most saddest, touching and well written books I have ever read. I bought it yesterday and within 16 hours finished cover to back. I couldnt put it down. The book is called "I came to Say Goodbye" by Australian Author Caroline Overington. This is written in a real unique way and I highly recommend it as a read.. It has met international acclaim so wont be hard to get a copy of internationaly. I wont go into to much detail about the story. But wow..

Lora123: I agree with Tasya. Over the course of my life time, I've spent more hours than I can count reading and re-reading "The Stand". The story is deeply intricate while remaining an easy, fun read.

Marvin at work: Yep...Stephen King is one of the best, as I said before. And when I think of "The Dark Tower" ,a really good story, always I have to laugh at the first and the last sentence.
