JackEthan, the question is, is it smart to be here? i mean, maybe people on social network on the internet are here because there not very good in real social life.  Hyenablood: this is the only social network I use, and it's to talk to other people, see options and learn, prehapes scifilover: @eric I do get all my wants here. I am usually straight forward and ask that back in return. In real life is a complete different story. I wouldn't say I am disappointed. I would say its just more complicated. LonelyFarmboy: I believe life is too short to be wasted on pointless chats and friendships without goals. Killing time is killing your life. Search for successful people on social sites and bond with them to start some nice project to make some money, help others or join a nice group to do something good for humanity. Hyenablood: when I can't get out of my house for a few days due to snowstorms, I enjoy being able to talk to people, lets me know that the world is still operating and people are still out there, no attacking zombies or monsters to watch out for.  careyal: I am just looking for some like-minded people to talk too. I have had trouble finding my "fit" in society and have trouble relating to people my age or finding people that share the same interest. I'm not looking for a relationship, I have one of those. But I do get lonely, often. I feel like I am surrounded by dense people in a dull world and feel that there are very little people who have something worth saying anymore. I am hoping I can find at least one person to prove me wrong. My faith in humanity has faultured a bit in the last few years but I am determined to not loose hope and find my positivity again. I have been put down a lot for being different and there is a part of me that feels I am not the only one who likes the things I like or thinks the way I do.
