There is white hat hacking, black hat hacking, and gray hat hacking. The simplest way to hack a web site is to find vulnerabilities in software and if your web site has software that isn't patched then you can exploit those vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, exploiting vulnerabilities is not so easy. Many times you need to understand perl, c, c++, assembly, php, etc. It's not quite as easy as it is displayed in movies.
