wats ur favoite animal (Page 3) zookeepers: Most of the animals mentioned in this forum I have either seen or owned. I currently only have two dogs, 3 budgies, 2 ferrets and a school of goldfish. Although I like all animals to me the best was my faithful old dog. She was always there for me and my family. You can't find a more loyal pet. zookeepers: Incidentally LadyMay I wouldn't call a wombat that little. The one we held when in Oz was big and so fat. But i want a snake But i dont wanna feed it with little mouses or this green annoying things   StolenHeart: omg, iguana I used to be a nanny and the kids had one. I had to feed it and once when I stuck my hand in it's cage, it whipped its tongue out and licked me. omg omg omg, it freaked me out!!lol Cowboy: German Rottweilers, they r the best dog u could ask 4. Strong willed, family oriented, loyal to the bone, and makes a great guard dog too. They may let u break into my house but u aint leavin til i get home and let u out. MaThinker (M.T.): Cats cats cats cats cats ! 2nd wud be bunny rabbits....... Third soft brown bushy tailed squirrels ! (never touched the last one though, wud love to, has anyone touched a live squirrel ? what does it feel like ? Is it boney or fleshy, and the fur very soft? Does a squirrel tend to bite us when we pet it ? ) Oh i cannot find weasels or beavers or possums in my country - i think they must be lovely !??  asmileispriceless: Oh I agree completely with the squirrel comment. We've got possums and I was really drunk out late one night at a park with my boyfriend and we came across 2 possums and they were so beautiful and friendly, we went to the bread shop and the shop owners gave us some free stale bread and we went back and hand fed them, and I even touched one of them and they have seriously hectic sharp claws and I touched the claws... it was definately a moment I will never forget! Oh so beautiful! They are so cute. I think squirrels are just adorable Maythinker. Their beautiful bushy tails, awe!!! xxx MaThinker (M.T.): We have squirrels in Malaysia, brown ones, black ones, kinda smaller than the western variety perhaps, but so elusive and fast moving, impossible to catch ! I dont know of any local who rears them as pets ! sebtheanimal: I like the alpaca. It's about human height and looks fun to hang with. The wolf is a close second. MaThinker (M.T.): Yes, the alpaca looks cute and friendly ! Then again all animals, no matter how they look, must be approached with caution as they are self defensive for danger. Any sudden attempt to pat their heads may be met with fierce reactions. I tried on a horse and a cow, and the reaction was scary ! zookeepers: I don't believe I've seen ferrets mentioned. Vicious to some but if they're properly brought up and trained they can be very funny and quite loyal.  Inspirationalsoldier: My favourite animals are bats. To me they are so fascinating in the way that they use echolocation and there is such a wide variety of them, insect eaters, flesh eaters, fishers, nectar feeders and fruit eaters.
