Queenslander41M: German Shepard is the dog for me.
They are smart and loyal and are able to look after you if your in trouble.
They love kids and watch over them as there own.
If you look into there eyes you can see a soul in there.
They have a bad rep cause of there military and police connections but in reality it how they have been brought up and what they have been trained in that makes the dog what it is.
My dog Sarah is protective but loves to play and swim.
If anyone has seen Inspector Rex then you will see what a German Shepard can really do.
If you look on you tube you will see how Shepard's are trained to protect us from those who want to hurt the Innocent.

whitebow: We have a giant schnauzer what a multi dog and beautiful dog . Very protective, very active at home and outside always want to play or swim in water or see people. Very special dog, cause they know for the best for children . They adore children as soon as they seem the run and want to play with them or wiggle the tails or just watch over them as a guard dog. My husband had 4 of these dogs and this is my first one yet had other dogs nothing to compare Vick is my dog name. Never seen any aggression in him yet, only unfix males he starts to make this noise doesn't like them cause we have he unfix.
If aggression starts these dogs are killing machines meaning they will not stop to attack just they do and attack for neck and will kill if necessary. Very powerful dogs and very brave , very very stubborn worst ones you can have. My dog can be a show dog when he has his groom done.
They have hair cause no allergies at home for us and only get groomed when he loses hair then we know it's time to his cut.

gemmasmith: I love all dogs and usually most fit into cute, cuddly,loyal,loving. It is the owner who determines how the dog will turn out so no matter what kind of dog if it is given the right love and care will be the best dog ever.

kat82: I believe it's the German Shepherd. They are proved the most clever dogs of all time. Also they are loyal, full of energy and can totally protect you! That breed simply has everything, there's nothing negative about them!

tbulb: Ah, but when a cat chooses you, feel flattered--you have been honoured and are among the chosen few.. A dog will do anything for anyone at any time. Feed a dog, he's yours until the next person feeds him.

AliasAbiss: until the next person feeds him )) u have a serios problem with dogs i see, and not all dogs do that, only the neglected ones, normal dogs do not eat from strangers, if they r well educated

Aussiekitty: l think the labrador dog is the best dog they help the blind and help at airports they are very intelligent and super cute

admireme63: I am actually looking to adopt an airedale terrier because they are good with people with allergies, which I have. Anybody know where I can get one to adopt?

tigeronca: Well! I think rottweilers are the best, they give unconditional love and protect me without ever backing down. I never lock my house, just to see if someone is really stupid enough to try! And if they did try, they would only have 2 seconds to know why they will not try again!!!

Comandante FiLTH: Strays. idk what my dogs are mixed with... seem to have a bit of pitbull and they both have a smooth brown coat, not as usual dogs. Both are extremely smart and loving. I've seen them interact with smaller dogs, they'd not rush a dog unless it comes hostilely. I'm organising to give away because one rushed some kid who was teasing him, since that happened a few in the neighbourhood have been threatening to poison them because they're trouble makers. I'll give them away together because they grew up with each other and it'd not be right to separate. I don't feel threatened by the poison statements, more to ease the drama..and I know to myself that if someone goes to that extreme and manage to poison anyone of them, I'd retaliate with something worse than poison.
