the explanation of "time":

How come people place someting almost "spiritual" on the esence of time? Do people understand time was created A LONG TIME AGO, BY MAN!it started off using shadows to calculate a number stating how far along in the day (light) or night (dark) we are. Never did it have anyhting to do with this "force" that acts upon things. all time is is the calculations of the earth tilt, the earths spin, and the rotation around the sun. there is no such thing as time in the essence that it acts upon us and nature. we change, and things around us change, but "time" does not. the earth spins, tilts, and toates, but even if it does this 10 billion times, no time has passed, all that happend is the earth has moved

what about beats per minute?

i heard tragic news this weekend, a mate killed himself leaving a mrs and 2 young children. he used to be close to his kids, too much videogames with them. how could someone do that? leave their kids?

i dont think anyone matters whatsoever in life. but to me this doesnt matter. why do we need to be so special? we dont. we are an animal, and we can have fun, loving, fulfilling lives without some meaning, or being special. everyone is special and no one is special, everyone has their own meaning and no one has meaning. but this has nothing to do with this forum. there is no such thing as time still. jsut cause your heart beats does not mean anything has passed.

If there is no time, what is history? I guess history is an illusion too.
When Matt 1st posted this thread 4 days ago, it WAS "today". Nothing has changed for us, we are STILL in today. We are always in the present.

uhmmmm history is history. things change. there is no such thign as time tho that changes with us. we spin around the sun, thats all. thatswhat time is. so yea u can say that 4 days ago was 4 spins of the earth, but you cant say in the last four days time has changed because ther eis no such thing as time.
