Best operating system

Mine is XP, maybe windows 7.

Hmm, I still prefer DOS6

But XP is a damn sight better than Vista.

Jury is still out on Win7, have to wait until it is released and used thoroughly. I hope MS have learnt their lesson though.

using XP now and happy using that OS

I'll have to go with XP Pro on this one, after Linux.
For those who have never handled a Linux, I recommend Xandros.

if your a windows users then yes MS windows XP Pro is the best so far...
but mac os and linux is good

for graphics it's mac
but windows is more populer and have more applications that unfortunately are just designed for windows

Macs used to be better for graphics, but that just isn't true any more.

And the big problem with linux is that it isn't as user friendly as windows. Conversely the problem with windows is that MS have a tendency to try to make it too user friendly. Which means it just ends up getting in its own way.

The other problem with linux, like you said, is the fact that a lot of software isn't compatible with it.

that what makes it hard for us...
we have 2 choose one thing, we don't have a perfect OS yet

I am just waiting for google's OC to come. They will kick the back of Windows and all Antivirus companies.

I love Linux. And there is plenty of software for it, open-source and free, plus you can use Wine to make Windows programs run. My kids play WOW on it every day, and I use Photoshop. What's not to like, since the OS is free??
