dog rescue days

When my mom had her dog rescue, we would adopt the animals about to be put to sleep. moments from their death bed sometimes days. but some of the cases ive heard from their background are just insane!! my moms yorkie that she has now was a rescue dog of ours that we just kept. Guess what that one was.. Owners had fed him c^zw# and rotten meat!! Rotted out all his teeth, he literlay had rotten teeth when we got him and had to get them all pulled not a single one left. poor thing. and the soft food gives him the sh*ts so we hafta feed him regular food soaked in water. he trys to eat the hard food anyway. Other one, rescue dog I guess wasn't quite ready to be adopted out yet and ran from the persons car, someone ended up calling us saying "we hit your dog and we are taking him to the vet now" but you know what? they never took him. they threw him in the field and left him freeze to death. christmas day my mom gets a call saying she needs to pick her dead dog up. she didnt speak to anyone for weeks after that.
