Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking is a modern-day eye-opener!!! It tries to put up an argument for the thesis that there indeed was a 'big bang' ... tell me about your take on it!!! Hawking is the modern day Galileo, predecessor of Newton's post, and unmistakably another Einstein!!1

I bought it recently as I've always wanted to read it. As I was n the middle of something else I lent it to my Dad. He told me yesterday that I can have it back as he's finding it a bit hard going. I should have known he'd have trouble, he's not a big reader anyway.

If anyone is interested in the Canadians in Afganistan I would recomend the book Fifteen Days by Chistie blatchford. It's about Fifteen days on which Canadians died in Afganistan. well writen and a thought provoking book.

That book was way too difficult. He even mentions in it to not read other books on the subject cuz they are way too technical and then he bombards you with vocabulary you can only be familiar with if you have a degree in physics. I'll stick with children's books on space and time thank you!

It's funny you should say this about one of the greatest "unread bestsellers" of all time. I remember when it came out and you'd see people "reading" it on the bus.

I have heard that title come up occasionally and everyone has always raved about it! Who is it by? It will be easier to find in the bookstore.
