Halloween is also called All Hallows Eve
Our forefathers believed if you carved pumpkins and put a candle in them it would keep the bad spirits away
over the centuries it changed to what it is now
It's also called beggers night as well
where the kids dress up in costumes and go from house to house asking for candy.Adults also dress up because they want to.Or they have a party to celebrate.It's mainly for the kids

it started as a gaelic tradition where everyone dresses up to hide from witches and they handed out hazelnuts and apples which were supposed to show their true form when eating these.

I thought it was a satanic tradition to get christians to dress up and mimic the dead to prove what hypocrites they really are.
