I heard from a friend it'll come with recon that you can use on halo 3

Yes it will come with Recon but the only way that you can unlock it is by getting all the Vidmaster Achievements for halo 3 and Halo: ODST..

once you have the vidmaster achevies for both games you unlock RECON Armour

or you can just complete the vidmaster complete the camp. on legendary 4 player co-op on ghosts.

For you to obtain the Recon Armor you must complete all 7 Vidmaster achievements. The first 3 are on the first Halo 3. On ODST you find the rest of the Vidmaster achievements. These challenges may prove challenging to those of skill level 40 and under. Two of the hardest Vidmaster's require a Co-operative play of four friends. To complete JUST these two challenges prepare to dedicate at least 6 hours. And thats talking about those who are actually good. If you aren't good enough you might just give up. The best advice? Gather a group of your best skilled friends and at least one person who knows exactly what to do. Remember its about strategy working together. i have a question what happened to the battle rifle in Halo:ODST???? i just went crazy when i couldn't find it.......

Anyone wanna meet up for this game? I don't play too much Halo online, and ODST has no matchmaking service(the fw^y?)- leaving me struggling to find people playing Halo, hoping they also have ODST
