'Deschooling Society' by a priest author

Fr. Ivan maintains that our society has been badly demoralized ... for one educators and teachers alike have failed to do there job! And so , why waste money on educational institutions ... author's pushing for the dissolution of schools ...!
What is your stand on this rather controversial matter, teachers, thinkers, and wise men out there?
