what are peoples words
but scorn and lies
told to keep others happy
just for the sake of it

to say what they feel at the time
no matter drunk or sober
always an excuse after
that they werent meant like that

to be told one thing
then told another
that it wasnt meant
was just them letting off steam

so why say it like you do
how do you mean it
in what way was it said
the words that are used
are from the heart when
said like that

then remember what you said them
how they were meant to be taken
by whom you spoke to and why
was it just to let it all out
to those that would listen

words can be dangerous
how they are written
in what way you use them
how you have a comment said

never speak a word
unless you mean it
as then no one will feel
at loss when the real meaning is explained

so why do we all use words
that arent meant
for would it not be easier
to say what you mean all the time

but is that being too honest
and who truly is honest to themselves
for those that are
are hard to find
for they are the ones that take all to heart

but those that dont
well too many to count
for arent most like that
at the end of the day

so in your words do say what you mean
from your heart do feel
not just your mind think
for in them are plain truths
so easy to understand
but all depends on how you say them

to those that listen
then do take this warning
a words is never meant
unless heard in the voice of they that speak it
so never assume what it means
always check
for then will know what to say and how
to those that are just full of words!
