The big search

<div align="left">Hi my name is Nico Steffen. I am from Germany, State Bavaria, County Bamberg. My Grandfather was an American Soldier who was stationed in Bamberg Warner Barracks. he had to leave spring 1946 and his girlfriend, he called her Grace but her real name was Theresia Zang, was not able to follow him, she was pregnant and had a work here. His daughter, my mum, was searching for him 35-40 years ago but got no informations except his first name: Charles (thats why my second name is Karl) he lived in Sunapee after the return to the USA (we have 2 letters 1 written in Le Harve, France befor he left europe by ship, and the second written in Sunapee without any adress). We know that his parents came from England and his mother did not want to have a K**** as daughter. And the last thing that we have is a photo in black and white he was blonde and tall and had "dumbo" ears (well thats funny but a fact.
I or better WE need help.
I found the enlistments for military from the years 1938 to 1946, result 40 names in NH minus these who not have blonde hair or are too old we think he was under 30 years old, the rest ist 23 results. But when i dont find out who came from sunapee or was stationed in Bamberg, Germany, then my search ends in a tv show, what i dont want to do.
so please if anyone can help me than write back. I can also help when someone searchs for ancestors in bavaria or near Bamberg.
